Why GO WILD?
We didn’t count the hikes we led, and suddenly we realized that we did more than 300! After changing the positions of president, vice-president and secretary of the AktivNatura Hiking Club several times over the past 10 years, we decided to hand over our roles to our colleagues. We also noticed that there are a lot of people who are not members of hiking clubs, but would like to go on hiking trips. In addition, it is becoming increasingly difficult for people to balance their commitments and organize hiking. As a solution, we started an adventure agency – Go Wild!
Who we are?
We, Srećko and Bruno, are both experienced mountain guides happily occupied with Go Wild.
Both of us like nature, wilderness and being active, but also sitting on the terrace enjoying the sunset with a glass of wine!
We constantly invest in our knowledge, work on personal development and education, acquire skills in outdoor activities, and participate in branding local projects and tourism development. We are convinced that the best way to do business we love is to take our guests as friends on an adventure to experience our homeland.
Srećko
I was born and live in Zagreb. I am a supporter of active outdoor activities and a passionate promoter of the natural beauty of our country. In 2012, I founded AktivNatura Hiking Club. I am committed to preserving nature and raising awareness among citizens about the values of natural and cultural heritage. I am the conceptual initiator and the founder of the first Croatian long-distance tourist-hiking trail Via Adriatica Trail, on the topic of which I have held more than 40 photo presentations. I have more than 50,000 photos from my adventures in my archive. I have led more than 300 hiking, 50 cycling and 100 kayaking trips. I am fascinated by rivers.
Bruno
I was born in Pula, and grew up and live in Zagreb. I have always loved exploring and being active, so I have tried my hand at rowing, fencing, tennis, diving, sailing, windsurfing, snowboarding, caving, hiking, mountain biking and kayaking.
I am a tour guide for Zagreb and the owner of Klaracomm travel agency that runs Blue Bike and Croescape . I helped Srećko, a great guy and insatiable nature lover, by joining him on the Via Adriatica Trail story.
